Not your mamma’s vinegar pickles! Explore the transformational art of brine fermentation pickling (that means no vinegar and no canning)! This age-old preservation technique is easy and delicious, and can be applied to a variety of fruits and veggies. We’ll learn about the building blocks of pickling, cover its many benefits, as well as experiment with a variety of methods and ingredients. Each participant will leave with a jar of homemade veggie pickles.
This is an introductory workshop, and is suitable for new or moderately-experienced picklers.
Cancellation Policy: We are unable to issue refunds once you have reserved your spot. However, if you are unable to attend, let us know at least a week in advance and you can switch into another one of our workshops, space provided. Within a week of the workshop, we are unable to offer exchanges.
