Bell Family Farm Zebu Experience

Tours on the Hour from 9am to 4pm

During your Florida Zebu and Farm Experience you will interact with our herd of Miniature Zebu, spend time with our growing group of goats and Kunekune pigs as well as all of our ducks and chickens. We generally begin with our youngest animals first. Most of our animals are under 1 year old. We will begin with the Kunekune pigs and ducks. Fig and Jon love attention. You can pet and scratch them, but not pick them up. You may be able to pet a duck, but generally they keep their distance. Next we head over to meet our resident clowns, the goats. These guys are comedy personified. Tuck will distract you with his calm loving demeanor just long enough for Bonk to untie your shoes. Teamwork! Milo may sit in your lap when he isn’t trying to woo his girlfriend, Milla, and Dumonde will simply melt your heart.

After the goats, It’s on to the Zebu. First, we will introduce you to Iris and Alfie. You can pet and scratch them under Bell Family Farm staff supervision. We will provide you with some healthy, nutritious, portioned food so you may hand feed them.  After interacting with Iris and Alfie we will move on to Charlie. We do not allow “in enclosure” interaction with Charlie, but you can feed and scratch him through his gate.

We will then visit our Apiary (Bee farm). You will get a brief introduction into the world of bee keeping and learn about the importance of bees in our world. A more in depth bee experience is available. All interactions are at the sole discretion of Bell Family Farm staff and at the desire of the animals. There is no guaranteed contact.
