Beekeeping Basics
Have you had “Become a Beekeeper” on you list of things you want to do? Well, then this workshop is for you! We will explore everything from equipment, safety, regulations, management skills, Honey Production, Honeybee anatomy and behavior, pests and diseases, and of course, we will taste some Honey and look at Bees together!
Please wear closed toe shoes, light colored and roomy clothing, and go light on the fragrances, unless you want to bee the one in class that has a lot of bees flying around you (just kidding), and be in a calm mood, no extra shot of espresso that morning (just kidding again).
